What To Expect

The 2025 INFINITI QX80 benefits from a total redesign that includes a tech-heavy interior, improved aerodynamics, twin-turbo V6 power, and all-new design language throughout. The QX80 remains a traditional full-size SUV with three rows, abundant cargo space, and truck-like capability.

The QX80 sheds its former shape in favor of crisp lines that disguise the vehicle's true size. The body features a nearly flat hood, flush door handles, thin LED light strips, and black-out pillars for a floating roof effect. Inside, the dashboard houses a 14.3-inch instrument display that joins seamlessly with a 14.3-inch center infotainment touchscreen. Below that is a 9-inch touchscreen for climate controls. Standard amenities include a 14-speaker Klipsch sound system and 64-color ambient interior lighting. INFINITI reports a 30 percent increase in the cargo room behind the third row.

2025 INFINITI QX80 Engine & Specs

The QX80's notoriously thirsty V8 engine gives way to a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 with 450 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. The V6 is paired with a new nine-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive remains standard on the Pure and Luxe trims, and four-wheel drive is optional. The Sensory and Autograph come exclusively with 4WD. The available adaptive air suspension enhances both handling and ride quality.

EPA ratings aren't available yet, but we're certain the new QX80 will achieve substantially better efficiency than the outgoing model's 15 miles per gallon in combined driving. Towing capacity is unchanged at 8,500 pounds.

2025 INFINITI QX80 Safety

The QX80 covers all the bases when it comes to safety and driver-assistance technology. Standard features include lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with evasive steering assist, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control with lane-centering assist. A hands-free highway driving system is optional on the Pure and Luxe and standard on subsequent trims.

2025 INFINITI QX80 Price

The 2025 QX80 will start at $84,445 including destination, about $8,000 more than the outgoing model. Pricing tops out at $110,595 for the Autograph trim.

The QX80 competes with other full-size luxury SUVs like the Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, Lexus LX, and Jeep Grand Wagoneer.

2025 INFINITI QX80 Release Date
