What To Expect

The Lexus RZ is the Japanese automaker’s first all-electric vehicle and was introduced in 2023. For the 2024 model year, the RZ arrived with a new RZ 300e trim, some extra range, minor interior design changes, and some extra driver-assist features. With the Lexus RZ receiving changes for 2024, we expect the upcoming 2025 Lexus RZ to be a carryover model.

The exterior design of the 2025 Lexus RZ isn’t expected to change for the new model year. The electric SUV should continue to have the same striking design as the current model that’s on sale. The RZ features sharp headlights, a modern version of Lexus’ spindle grille, and an angular front fascia. Prominent body lines, a blacked-out C-pillar, and aggressive rear fenders give the electric SUV a sporty look. At the back, the RZ features a large rear spoiler, a thin horizontal taillight, and a blacked-out rear bumper.

Lexus isn’t expected to make any changes to the RZ’s interior design for 2025. The RZ has a stylish interior design with a large central screen, a thin horizontal vent that’s positioned above the screen, sweeping door panels, and an instrument cluster that’s integrated into the same trim panel as the central screen. The expansive center console features touch-capacitive controls and a few large dials, while a rotary dial transmission shifter frees up storage space in the center console.

Lexus offers the RZ with two battery packs: a 71.4-kWh unit and a 72.8-kWh pack. The smaller battery pack is standard with the FWD model, while the larger pack is fitted to the AWD model. The RZ 330e offers up to 266 miles of range, while the RZ 450e has up to 220 miles of range.
