What To Expect

Volkswagen has officially confirmed that the ID.Buzz will arrive in the U.S. for the 2025 model year. While VW hasn’t shared all of the 2025 ID. Buzz’s features yet, here’s what we can expect to see from the electric van.

The exterior design of the 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz will remain close to models that the automaker has showcased in the past. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Type 2 Microbus, the ID.Buzz has a boxy silhouette with an available two-tone paint scheme. The front end has triangular headlights that are connected by a horizontal light mar, a wide front air intake with triangular cutouts, and an expansive windshield. The back of the ID. Buzz has slim taillights, a small rear spoiler, and an upright liftgate.

The 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz will be available as a three-row van in the U.S. with seating for up to seven people. A pair of captain’s chairs are available for the second row, which drops the seating capacity to six people. From a design element, the ID.Buzz’s cabin has a simple dashboard design with air vents that span the full width of the dash, a central screen that’s positioned in front of the dash, and a large storage compartment that’s integrated into the dash in front of the passenger. Because of the large windows and the way VW’s engineers packaged the EV’s drivetrain, the ID. Buzz has an enormous cabin. The 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz also has a few useful features like adjustable armrests, fold-out tables, and a removable center console.
