2024 Acura ZDX Changes
The Acura ZDX is an all-new dedicated electric crossover and the brand’s first EV. Built in the USA with collaboration from General Motors, the ZDX shares almost no similarities with the same name-bearing vehicle that Acura produced for just a single generation, more than a decade ago, except that it again, serves as a low-volume exterior design-leading vehicle at the top of the line-up hierarchy.
Choosing Your 2024 Acura ZDX
The Acura ZDX is available in two trim levels; A-Spec and Type S. Base prices for the ZDX range from $65,745 to $74,745.
2024 Acura ZDX Engine Options
The ZDX is available with three different powertrains. The A-Spec with rear-wheel drive utilizes a single motor at the rear axle while a second motor can be added at the front axle to provide more power and all-wheel-drive capability for $4,000. The Type S is only offered with all-wheel drive and features more powerful motors. The battery pack measures 102 kWh.

2024 Acura ZDX Fuel Economy
Acura estimates the ZDX will achieve between 309 and 283 miles of range, depending on powertrain configuration. The ZDX has not yet been fully evaluated by the EPA.
Acura states that the ZDX requires 42 minutes of DC Fast Charging to jump from 20% to 80% state of charge under ideal conditions.

All models are rated for towing up to 3,500 pounds, regardless of powertrain.
2024 Acura ZDX Dimensions & Cargo Capacity
The ZDX is a two-row, five-passenger crossover that measures 198 inches in length and 77 inches in width which puts the new Acura in the same size arena as the BMW iX and the Audi Q8 e-tron although those electric crossover examples are slightly smaller. The ZDX’s interior offers a generous 39.4 inches of legroom and 66.3 inches of hiproom for rear passengers, however, headroom measures just 37 inches.
The ZDX’s cargo space measures 28 cubic feet behind the rear seats which can fold down to open up a total of 61 cubic feet of volume.
2024 Acura ZDX Safety
All ZDX models are equipped with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot detection, adaptive cruise control with lane centering, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high beams, traffic sign recognition, and front and rear parking sensors. The Type S trim additionally receives a hands-free cruise control system (a version of GM’s Super Cruise), a surround-view camera system, and parking assist.

2024 Acura ZDX Technology
The ZDX is equipped with a premium Bang & Olufsen 18-speaker 14-channel sound system driven with an 11.3-inch infotainment touchscreen that incorporates wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, SiriusXM, and HD Radio compatibility. There is also Google Built-in, a wi-fi hotspot, remote vehicle connectivity, a wireless charging pad, and four USB ports. The Type S additionally features a 110-volt outlet.

2024 Acura ZDX A-Spec - MSRP From $65,745
Build & Price >The A-Spec trim features 20-inch wheels, LED headlights and tail lights, signature daytime running lights, an illuminated grille surround, a power-sliding panoramic glass roof, roof rails (on all-wheel-drive models), a power tailgate, acoustic laminated front glass, and power-folding mirrors with integrated turn signals. Inside, the ZDX features premium leather seats with heating and ventilation plus 12-way power adjustability and driver position memory, a power tilt and telescope flat-bottom heated steering wheel with paddle shifters to vary the level of regenerative braking, an 11-inch digital gauge cluster, stainless-steel pedals, bruised aluminum trim, and ambient lighting. A red or white leather interior and various premium paints are the only options.
2024 Acura ZDX Type S - MSRP From $74,745
Build & Price >The ZDX Type S receives performance-focused and luxurious features. Larger 22-inch wheels are standard as are an air suspension system with adaptive dampers, high-performance brakes, larger anti-roll bars, a faster steering ratio, a gloss-black painted roof, and Type S badging that continues onto the 16-way power-adjustable seats. The driver receives a head-up display, the front passenger seat gains memory positioning, and the rear passengers gain their own climate zone and heated seats.
The Type S offers a high level of safety, luxury, and performance for a modest price increase over the A-Spec trim and therefore gets our vote for this first-generation of Acura EVs.
