Jeep finally unveiled the redesigned 2018 Wrangler at the SEMA Show, but official details from the automaker have been scarce. However, according to Motor Trend, a preliminary list of standard equipment and optional features leaked over at JLWranglerForums.com.

The 2018 Wrangler will come in three trims to start: Sport (base), Sahara, and Rubicon. All three only house the Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 engine with a choice of manual or automatic transmission at launch.

Each trim has its own grade of infotainment. The base Sport trim receives Uconnect 3 with a 5.0-inch display, the Sahara model gets the Uconnect 4 system with a 7.0-inch display, while the Rubicon's equipped with Uconnect 4C with an 8.4-inch display. A new 220-amp alternator is standard on the Sahara and Rubicon trims, which should offer plenty of power for various accessories. Other new available options include push-button start, and a new 7.0-inch TFT instrument cluster display on Sahara and Rubicon models.

Overall, the new features bring the 2018 Jeep Wrangler more in line with the rest of Jeep's lineup's equipment, as well as its competition. Jeep is officially introducing the 2018 Wrangler at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month.
