Alfa Romeo won the hearts of enthusiasts with its Quadrifoglio variants of the Giulia and Stelvio. The Italian marque is now looking to gets its less-powerful models into the limelight with new Nero Edizione packages that it revealed at the 2018 New York Auto Show.
The Nero Edizione package is only available on the Giulia and Stelvio models that are powered by the 280-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. The package adds a host of dark trim pieces to the vehicles, including Dark Miron exterior badging, Gloss Black window surrounds, dark headlight bezels, Dark Miron exterior mirror caps, and a Dark Miron grille surround.
In addition to these dark touches, the Giulia gets 19-inch aluminum wheels finished in – you guessed it – Dark Miron. Exterior touches that are bespoke to the Stelvio include a Dark Miron rear fascia applique, black roof rails, and 20-inch Dark Miron aluminum wheels.
Consumers that spring for the Nero Edizione package can also choose between custom-painted brake calipers that can be finished in red, yellow, or black. Dark exhaust tips are the final piece of the puzzle, but will be available at a later date.
The Nero Edizione package doesn't alter the Giulia or Stelvio's design in a drastic way, but does add an extra bit of pop to the handsome machines. The blacked-out package will be available later this year.
