Nearly every Ford F-150 is about to get more expensive. According to a letter sent to dealers this morning, the brand's bestselling truck will see up to an $880 price increase on December 27th. The price hike come less than a month after the automaker raised MSRPs on over half a dozen models ahead of the new year.
Most 2022 F-150 trims will see an $880 price increase. Based on Ford's letter, this includes all XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Limited, Tremor, and Raptor trucks. The only real exception is the entry-level XL pickup, which will be just $350 more expensive. However, the real increase may be even higher.
A closer look finds that the optional STX Appearance Package (available on certain XL trims) will be $530 more expensive. Combined with the $350 price hike on the XL, that comes out to the same $880 price increase as every other F-150. Fortunately, no other packages are set to receive a price increase next week.
F-150 prices currently start at $31,335 including destination. As we reported previously, the 2022 F-150 is up to $2,280 more expensive than the previous year depending on the configuration. Although mid-year price increases are common around this time of year, the changes actually aren't limited to the popular F-150.
Ford is also planning to raise 2022 Maverick prices by up to $370, though some versions will see a price increase exceeding $1,000. In addition, 2022 Ranger prices are set to go up by $215. Ford already made a round of price increases on 7 models earlier this month, including up to a $3,000 price hike on the Mach-E.
