2024 Cadillac XT4

According to order guide data, the 2025 Cadillac XT4 is set to arrive with an updated lineup. The current XT4 is available in three trims: Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport. For 2025, the XT4 lineup is getting trimmed to just two trims, as the base Luxury trim is being discontinued. While Cadillac hasn’t confirmed pricing for the 2025 XT4 yet, we expect the change to increase the SUV’s starting price tag by a wide margin.

At the moment, the current Cadillac XT4 costs $39,090 (prices include destination) for the Luxury trim, while the mid-level Premium Luxury is priced at $42,690. That’s a difference of $3,600. With the 2025 XT4 gaining some new features for the model year, we expect pricing for the mid-level Premium Luxury and Sport trims to increase. Shoppers could see pricing for the 2025 XT5 go up by more than $5,000.

For the 2025 model year, the XT4 is getting the previously optional Active Safety Package as standard equipment. The package includes adaptive cruise control, automatic speed limit assist, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, a surround-view camera, rear pedestrian alert, side bicyclist alert, traffic sign recognition, enhanced automatic emergency braking, reverse automatic emergency braking, and intersection assist. This package used to cost $1,825 on the Premium Luxury and Sport trims.

2024 Cadillac XT4 Dashboard

We saw Cadillac do something similar for the 2025 CT5 earlier this March. The CT5’s price tag, though, went up substantially because the sedan received a facelift with new tech features, an updated infotainment system, and an updated exterior design. When Cadillac dropped the CT5’s base Luxury trim, pricing for the sedan went up by $9,200. We don’t think the increase for the XT4 will be as high, since it’s not benefitting from a facelift, but shoppers can expect to pay a lot more for a 2025 XT4.

A GM spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

With production of the 2025 Cadillac XT4 expected to begin before the end of summer, we expect the compact SUV to arrive at dealerships this fall. Pricing for the vehicle should be announced shortly, though shoppers who have been waiting to purchase an XT4 and are interested in the base Luxury trim should act quickly to buy a 2024 model.
