2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV

The 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV arrived in a limited number of options and configurations with just two trims (RS and LT). According to order guide data, the upcoming 2025 Blazer EV will add a new Midnight/Sport Edition Package on the LT trim for $695. This package will bring a blacked-out look to the electric SUV and could be a good choice for drivers who want their Blazer EV to stand out on the road.

The new Midnight/Sport Edition Package is option code WJU and will initially be available on the 4LT AWD trim. It adds 19-inch black wheels, black bowties and badges, high gloss black roof rails, dark chrome dark chrome interior trim on the air vents, and black cloth upholstery. Shoppers who get the package with the Comfort and Convenience Package will have a cabin that features Black Evotex (synthetic leather) upholstery.

Information from the order guide claims that the Midnight/Sport Edition Package will have late availability. While the Comfort and Convenience Package comes with satin aluminum finished roof rails, the Midnight/Sport Edition Package replaces those with black roof rails.

We’re surprised to see the Midnight/Sport Edition Package only being offered on the LT trim, as the package seems like it would be a better fit for the sportier RS trim. The new package could be Chevrolet’s way of making the LT trim more attractive.

A new Midnight/Sport Edition package is just one of a few updates that Chevy is making to the Blazer EV for the 2025 model year. The 2025 Blazer EV LT is getting a price cut for $1,200, as it will start at $47,600 excluding destination. Pricing for the sportier RS trim is going down by $300 for 2025 to $52,900. Unfortunately, the price decrease is due to fewer features.

The 2024 Blazer EV comes with the Convenience and Driver Confidence Package and Comfort and Convenience Package as standard equipment. For 2025, these packages will not be standard. By our estimation, shoppers will have to spend an additional $1,295 to get the 2025 Blazer EV to be as well-equipped as the 2024 model.
