The cost to buy a new Lincoln SUV is going up yet again. According to a letter sent to dealers, 2022 Lincoln prices will increase by up to $1,075 on April 1st. Based on our analysis, the changes involve higher MSRPs on certain vehicle trims and options packages. Here's what you need to know ahead of the latest price hikes.
On the extreme end, 2022 Lincoln Navigator prices are increasing by $1,075 in the case of the Black Label model and $535 for the well-equipped Reserve series. However, a closer look finds that other Navigator trims will be unaffected, and the other price increases set to take effect tomorrow are considerably smaller.
For example, 2022 Corsair Reserve prices are going up just $110, though the MSRPs of options like the Luxury Package are increasing by $230. In the case of the popular 2022 Nautilus, base prices are remaining unchanged, though the still-relatively-new Monochromatic Package is getting a $200 price increase.
Lincoln calls the price increases "competitive pricing actions." While mid-year price increases aren't unusual, this marks the second round of price hikes from Lincoln so far this year. Back on February 1st, Lincoln raised Corsair prices by up to $1,265, with as much as a $540 price hike on the Nautilus and $325 on the Aviator.
Parent company Ford has been raising prices on many fronts, with a $1,000 price increase on the Expedition on March 1st and a similar price hike on the popular Bronco Sport. The company even began charging fleet customers a raw materials surcharge amid a chip shortage and unprecedented supply chain problems.
