For the seventh year, WardsAuto has picked 10 new vehicles with what it considers to be the best interiors. This year's results run all over the price ladder, too.

The publication selects the best vehicles with interiors that offer a combination of good ergonomics, pleasing design, and controls that are easy to understand and use. Wards picked interiors ranging from the $29,000 Subaru Impreza to the nearly $280,000 Bentley Bentayga. The prices cited reflect the evaluated vehicle's as-tested price.

“We strive every year to compile a list that is diverse, representing as many segments and price points as possible,” Drew Winter, senior content director at WardsAuto, said in the release.

Among mainstream vehicles, the $34,000 Honda CR-V was singled out for its interior that was, "upscale, clean, functional and supremely well built," according to editors.

In addition to the plush materials and luxurious design, the $50,000 Buick LaCrosse also got high marks for a Bluetooth phone system that was easy to pair up and design details that go above what other large sedans offer.

The least-expensive award-winner, the Impreza, was praised for its easy infotainment system and comfortable seats – all contributing to a feel better than most compact sedans offer. Other winners included the Alfa Romeo Giulia (really, guys?), Lexus LC 500, Lincoln Continental, Maserati Levante, Mazda CX-9, and Mini Countryman.

The winners of the 2017 Ward 10 Best Interiors will be honored at a May 9 ceremony in Detroit.
