With gas prices moving up, the price of the Prius is surprisingly moving down.

If you've patiently waiting for a good deal on a Toyota Prius, the wait is over. Our pricing analysts have just received news of price drops throughout the range for the month of March. The deals apply to most of the Prius lineup, from the affordable Prius c to the Prius Plug-in hybrid.

Logic suggests that when the cost of fuel increases, the price of fuel-efficient hybrids also moves up due to increased demand. Not this time.

Recent spikes in fuel prices have led many consumers and drivers to once again reassess their wants and needs. And the jump in gas prices coupled with the big incentives this month are shaping up to present a rare and unique buying opportunity. Rarely do the costs of both move in opposite directions.
