Chrysler's next-gen minivans will be more expensive, so now is a good time to take advantage of the current deals.

Chrysler has made an official announcement regarding their next-generation of minivans, including the upcoming 2017 Chrysler Town & Country. And the one big takeaway is the big price jump: the new minivans will start at $26k.

The base price is in stark contrast to the value-priced minivans currently offered by the automaker. Namely, the 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan AVP (American Value Package) which bundles only the essentials like dual-zone A/C and four-speaker audio. For those trying to budget for a future purchase, the price jump represents a 15% increase over the current model and a mammoth 23% jump when you factor in the current incentives.
