2023 Acura RDX - Exclusive Ashburn New Car Discounts

The 2023 Acura RDX is largely unchanged following last year's refresh. AcuraLink connected services are now standard for three years, and scheduled maintenance is complimentary for two years or 24,000 miles.

The RDX continues in five trim levels: RDX, RDX with Technology Package, RDX A-Spec, RDX with Advance Package, and RDX A-Spec with Advance Package. Pricing starts at $42,545 including destination for the RDX and tops out at $53,350 for the RDX A-Spec with Advance Package.

Every RDX comes with a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that puts out 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is standard on models equipped with the Advance Package and costs $2,200 on the other trims. All models use a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Front-drive versions are EPA-rated at 22 miles per gallon city, 28 mpg highway, and 24 combined. With AWD, estimates ease to 21/27/23 (city/highway/combined).

The RDX is a compact, two-row crossover with seating for five. Buyers get 29.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seat and 58.9 cubic feet with it folded. That's above average for a luxury crossover of this size.

The RDX starts out with plenty of driver assistance features, including adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, road sign recognition, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.

Moving up to the Technology or A-Spec model brings a rear camera washer and front and rear parking sensors. The Advance models also get surround-view cameras, a head-up display, and automatic wipers with de-icers.

The infotainment system for the base RDX features a 10.2-inch touchscreen, a touchpad controller, HD and satellite radio, nine speakers, three USB ports, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. The RDX with Technology Package picks up navigation, wireless phone charging, and a 12-speaker ELS sound system. The A-Spec and Advance models receive a 16-speaker ELS system.

The RDX comes generously equipped for a base model in this class. Standard fare includes a panoramic sunroof, a power liftgate, full LED exterior trim, keyless proximity access, and 19-inch wheels. The interior gets leatherette upholstery, aluminum trim, and 12-way power front seats.

Along with its safety and connectivity upgrades, the RDX with Technology Package offers genuine leather upholstery, heated front seats, ambient LED interior lighting, and GPS-linked climate control.

The A-Spec takes on a sportier look with black body trim, 20-inch dark gray wheels, and LED fog lights. Inside are ventilated front seats, sueded upholstery inserts, a flat-bottom steering wheel, sport pedals, and dark brushed aluminum trim. The A-Spec also carries the top-shelf 16-speaker ELS system and a hands-free power liftgate.

The RDX with Advance Package loses the A-Spec appearance elements but adds an adaptive suspension system, remote start, a heated steering wheel, wood interior trim, heated and ventilated 16-way power front seats, heated rear seats, and power-folding side mirrors. AWD is also standard.

The ultimate RDX combines the Advance equipment with sporty A-Spec styling.
