2023 BMW 7-Series Orderable With Limited Availability; 2022s Sold Out
The 2023 BMW 7-Series can be ordered, while the 2022 7-Series is sold out. The availability of the large sedan is limited, as it's produced in very small numbers. The redesigned next-gen 2023 model will be available with two gasoline-powered engine options and one electric powertrain option. The plush interior for backseat passengers will boast a 31.3-inch 8K touchscreen that folds into the ceiling when not in use and optional reclining seat backrests.
This page is updated monthly with the most recent incentives, so be sure to check back for the latest information. The current offers are good through April 2, 2023, and are based on California.
BMW 7-Series Lease Deals
Lease From $1,299/mo.
BMW has one available lease deal on the 2023 7-Series this month. The 2023 740i Sedan is available for $1,299 per month for 36 months with $8,039 due at signing. The effective monthly cost with this deal is $1,522. This is not a good deal and is worse than the one BMW was offering last year.
BMW’s lease deals include 7,500 miles per year of driving allowance. At lease end, you will pay a disposition fee of up to $495.
BMW 7-Series Rebate Deals
No Rebate Available
BMW is not offering a rebate for the 2023 7-Series. Previously, the 2022 7-Series was available with a $3,000 loyalty discount for current BMW owners that were financed through BMW Financial.
Additionally, you’ll find a recent college graduate bonus worth $1,000 for eligible shoppers. Also, members of the U.S. Military will find a bonus as well, with at least $500 available, depending on the model.
One of the stipulations for these bonuses, however, is that you will have to finance or lease through BMW Financial.
Shop the BMW 740e, a plug-in hybrid model (PHEV), and there are no special government-backed incentives available at his time. Typically, the PHEV gets a $583 Clean Fuel Reward for California residents but the offer is currently paused. Also, there is no CVRP available due to the sedan not meeting the state’s range requirement.
BMW 7-Series Finance Deals
Unadvertised financing deals
BMW does not have any advertised finance deals this month. It's best to check with your local dealer to see if the large sedan is available with any special financing rates.
Last month, BMW was offering the 7-Series with a 60-month term with a 4.59% APR. This finance deal was not advertised, either.

What's New
It’s all change for 2023, with a brand new 7-Series reaching the market. Powertrains are unchanged but the design and cabin are much improved, with superior technology and greater comfort alongside extensive customization options. Needless to say, prices are significantly up on last year’s model following the redesign of this flagship luxury sedan.
Choosing Your BMW 7-Series
The 2023 BMW 7-Series range comprises just two models – the 740i and the 760i. The former is rear-wheel drive, with prices starting at $94,295 including destination. The $114,595 760i is all-wheel drive and far more powerful. There’s only one trim level on each model, though there are plenty of options packages available.
A new all-electric sedan called the BMW i7 is covered separately.
Engine Choices
The 2023 BMW 740i is powered by a three-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine generating 375 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. In tandem with a 48V mild hybrid system, power is applied to the rear wheels through a new eight-speed automatic transmission.
The more powerful 760i has a 4.4-liter V8, producing 536 hp and 553 lb-ft, supplied to all four wheels with the same transmission and mild hybrid technology. Fuel economy has yet to be announced for either model at the time of writing.
Engine Type | Horsepower | Torque | Fuel Economy (City/HighwayCombined) |
3.0 six-cylinder | 375 hp | 383 lb-ft | N/A |
4.4 V8 | 536 hp | 553 lb-ft | N/A |
Passenger and Cargo Capacity
Cargo capacity for the five-seater 7-Series (though it’s really only intended to accommodate four) stands at 17.7 cu ft with the rear seats in place.
Safety Features
The 7-Series has historically played second fiddle to Mercedes’ S-Class in terms of world-leading safety features, but it’s still packed with cutting-edge tech. The brakes are ventilated, self-drying and equipped with fade compensation.
The self-leveling air suspension has dynamic dampers, and the adaptive LED headlights incorporate automatic high beams. There’s a driver fatigue monitor, an interior camera and blind spot detection alongside lane departure warnings, dynamic cruise control and a color head-up display. Active steering is a $1,150 option.
Connectivity
Audiophiles will be delighted to hear a Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system is standard on every 7-Series, alongside satellite radio. Smartphone mirroring and wireless device charging join real-time navigation, voice-controlled cabin functionality, and a 5G eSIM on both models. You can also pay $4,750 for a 31-inch 8K rear theater screen with 5G streaming, which should keep the kids quiet on long drives.
2023 BMW 740i – MSRP From $94,295
There’s no mistaking the luxurious nature of 7-Series ownership. The driver faces a power telescopic multi-function heated leather steering wheel, ahead of a fully digital instrument cluster with navigation. Everything from the wipers to the doors operate automatically, with memory settings covering everything from air distribution to audio preferences. There’s four-zone climate throughout a cabin with Veganza leather upholstery, power side and rear sunshades, a powered trunk, an LED-lit roof and floor alongside multi-color adjustable ambient cabin lighting.
Like its bigger brother, the 740i can be ordered with a decorative M Sport Professional Package for $950, combining black calipers and a rear spoiler with trim detailing and upgraded brakes. The $2,100 Driver Assistance Pro Package brings partly-automated driving at speeds of up to 85 mph, while the $1,250 Parking Assistance pack combines a 360-degree 3D external view of the car with automated parking.
For those who prefer to be driven than drive, the $3,000 Luxury Rear Seating Package adds massaging and ventilation to the outboard rear seats, alongside additional adjustment and support. The $4,600 Executive Package brings these features to the front seats, in tandem with heating elements everywhere from the steering wheel to the armrests.
2023 BMW 760i – MSRP From $114,595
With the extra reassurance provided by all-wheel drive, 760i models introduce extended Merino leather with ventilation in the front. Otherwise, specifications are largely unchanged from the 740i.
Packages are also the same as on the 740i, though the Executive Package drops in price to $3,700. You can additionally pay $7,250 for what BMW calls rear lounge seating, combining a foldable table and 31-inch theater screen with electric reclining seats and a power-adjustable footrest.
Compare 7-Series Trims Side-By-Side
If you live in a cold state, the added reassurance of AWD might justify the 760i’s cost. Otherwise, we’d stick with the 740i, which is equally luxurious but $20,000 cheaper, giving you room to play with the options list.
