The 2023 Cadillac XT5 is unchanged for its final year in current form. The luxury crossover received its last major update in 2020. An all-new XT5 is reportedly in the works for the 2024 model year.
Choosing Your Cadillac XT5
The XT5 continues in three trim levels: Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport. Pricing starts at $45,590 including destination and heads to $58,490 for the Sport.
Engine Choices
The Luxury and Premium Luxury come standard with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. A V6 engine is optional on the Premium Luxury ($1,000) and standard on the Sport. The XT5 Sport also gets standard all-wheel drive, which costs $2,000 on the other trims.

Passenger and Cargo Capacity
The XT5 is a two-row, midsize crossover with plenty of room for five. There are 30 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seat and 63 cubic feet with it folded. These figures aren't bad, but it's clear the XT5 prioritizes passenger comfort over utility.
Safety Features
The XT5 starts out with a good deal of driver assistance technology, including lane-keeping assist, a following distance indicator, automatic high beams, automatic emergency braking, a vibrating safety alert in the driver seat, and front and rear parking sensors.
The Premium Luxury and Sport also carry blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. These trims are eligible for a $1,300 Driver Assist Package with radar-enhanced automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, automatic belt-tightening, and reverse automatic braking. There's also a $2,275 Technology Package, which adds a rear camera washer, a review camera mirror, an 8-inch driver info display, a rear pedestrian alert, an automated parking system, and a head-up display.
Connectivity
The standard infotainment system offers eight-speaker Bose sound, an 8-inch touchscreen, satellite and HD radio, four USB ports, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Upgrading to Premium Luxury or Sport brings in navigation, wireless phone charging, and a 14-speaker Bose system.
2023 Cadillac XT5 Luxury – MSRP From $45,590
The Luxury delivers the expected equipment for a base trim in this class, including heated eight-way power driver and six-way power passenger seats, a power liftgate, remote start, proximity access, a universal home remote, LED headlights, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Seats are clad in a leather-like material Cadillac called Inteluxe.
2023 Cadillac XT5 Premium Luxury – MSRP From $51,340
The Premium Luxury lives up to its name with genuine leather upholstery, driver and passenger memory, an eight-way power passenger seat, a heated power-adjustable steering wheel, wood or carbon fiber interior trim, a panoramic sunroof, an anti-theft system, and nickel-finish wheels. Another $1,200 equips the cabin with ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, rear automatic climate control, and an air purifier.
The $4,850 Platinum Package adds extended semi-aniline upholstery, an adaptive sport suspension, a sueded headliner, and premium floor mats.
2023 Cadillac XT5 Sport – MSRP From $58,490
The V6 and AWD are standard on the Sport, along with the adaptive sport suspension and Brembo front brakes with red calipers. The exterior receives gloss black roof rails and 20-inch wheels. Other equipment and options are shared with the Premium Luxury, although the Platinum Package drops $3,650 because the upgraded suspension is already standard.
