2022 Bolt EUV production resumes
The 2022 Bolt EUV was under a battery recall the last few months, so few are available for purchase at the moment. Production recently resumed, and supplies should return to normal by midsummer.
The new Bolt EUV is a crossover spinoff of the Bolt EV hatchback. Priced $2,000 higher than the hatchback, the Bolt EUV is larger and better equipped, though the hatchback still wins on cargo space.
The Bolt lineup receives a price cut for 2022 to more closely align MSRPs with actual transaction prices. The downside is your ability to negotiate may not be as good, and GM has excluded the Bolt EUV from Employee and Supplier Pricing.
In California, the Bolt EUV qualifies for a $2,000 Clean Vehicle Rebate and a $750 Clean Fuel Reward, subject to income limitations. Chevy EVs no longer qualify for federal tax credits.
Current factory offers are available on a national basis through May 31, 2022, unless otherwise noted. This page is updated monthly with the latest incentives, so be sure to check back for the latest information.
Chevy Bolt EUV Lease Deals
Lease from $239/month
Current Bolt lessees can now lease a 2022 Bolt EUV 2LT from $239 for 36 months (10,000 miles a year) with $2,619 due at signing. The effective monthly cost works out to $311, an exceptional value for this price class.
In San Francisco only, the cash due at signing is $1,869, which knocks the effective monthly cost down to $291.
If you're not currently in a Bolt lease, your cost may be higher, but you can still expect very good value.
Chevy Bolt EUV Rebate Deals
$500 off for all buyers
Chevy continues to offer a $500 rebate on the 2022 Bolt EUV to all buyers, a typical amount for this model. Now that Chevy has reduced the Bolt's MSRP, rebates will be modest compared to previous years.
Chevy Bolt EUV Finance Deals
Rates from 1.9% APR
Instead of the cash rebate, buyers can now get 1.9% financing for 60 months on the 2022 Bolt EUV. If you want longer to pay, Chevy also offers 2.9% for 72 months.

What's New
Newly launched for 2022, Chevrolet’s Bolt EUV slots into the range above its Bolt EV stablemate. This all-electric SUV is the first Chevy to offer hands-free driver assistance on enabled roads, as an option on the higher of its two trim levels. The model's starting price is just $2,000 higher than the Bolt electric car.
Choosing Your Chevrolet Bolt EUV
The Bolt EUV range is easy to navigate, with two trim levels from which to choose. The entry-level LT costs $33,995 including destination, while the Premier is significantly more expensive, at $38,495.
Bolts no longer qualify for a federal tax credit. However, states like California offer incentives and plug-in rebates. For example, the California Clean Vehicle Rebate (CVRP) offers $2,000 in additional savings.
Engine Choices
The Bolt EUV is powered by a lithium-ion propulsion battery, which generates 200 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. This is supplied to the front wheels, while this electric-only vehicle returns an EPA-estimated 247 miles of range on a single charge. EPA equivalent fuel economy stands at 125 MPG city, 104 highway, and 115 combined.
Engine Type | Horsepower | Torque | EPA equivalent fuel economy (City,Highway,Combined) |
Electric Motor | 200 hp | 266 lb-ft | 125/104/115 |
Passenger and Cargo Capacity
Cargo capacity for the five-seater Bolt EUV stands at 16.3 cu ft with the rear seats in place, and 56.9 cu ft once they’re dropped.
Safety Features
The Bolt EUV is the first Chevrolet to offer GM Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology. It uses LiDAR to pilot the vehicle along 200,000 miles of enabled roads in America and Canada, though the driver must remain attentive at all times for the system to operate.
More conventional safety aids include camera-controlled automatic emergency and pedestrian braking, with a pedestrian safety signal alerting people about the car’s near-silent approach. The cabin is crammed with ten airbags, while the driver benefits from lane keep assist and departure warning, a following distance indicator to the vehicle in front, plus forward collision alert.
Connectivity
EVs usually offer seamless integration with other smart technology, and even LT trim comes with Chevy’s Infotainment 3 Plus system. This sees a 10.2-inch HD touchscreen running wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
You can personalize your infotainment and vehicle settings through the cloud, with a six-speaker stereo alongside satellite radio, 4G WiFi hotspot compatibility, and remote cabin heating/cooling. There’s wireless device charging and an SD card reader in the front plus USB A and C charging ports in the rear. Programmable vehicle charging can also schedule battery top-ups around upcoming departure times or cheap utility rates.
LT models come with keyless entry and remote engine start, alongside a Sport mode which sharpens the accelerator response and steering feedback. The driver’s bucket seat faces onto a flat-bottom steering wheel with a customizable eight-inch graphic display unit behind it. The windows and door locks are all powered, cruise and climate control are standard, and the headlamps and taillamps are LED.
The two main packs on LT models include the $495 Driver Confidence Package, which combines rear park assist and cross-traffic alert with blind zone alerts and lane change assistance. The $895 Comfort Package lives up to its name with a heated steering wheel and heated front seats including eight-way power and two-way lumbar for the driver.
Bolt EUV Premier – from $38,495
Premier sets its stall out with carbon pockets on the 17-inch aluminum wheels, chrome and black gloss detailing, and ambient door lighting. The heated and ventilated front seats are wrapped in leather to match the heated steering wheel and rear seats. The cruise control becomes adaptive to slow in response to other traffic, and the rear mirror is transformed into a camera. This forms part of an HD surround vision system, helping drivers to maneuver the Bolt through tight spaces.
The $2,495 Sun and Sound Package bundles some tempting (if unrelated) items together – a panoramic power sunroof, a seven-speaker Bose audio system, and navigation. The $2,200 Super Cruise Package includes an autonomous system that can effectively replace the driver on compatible roads, with enhanced automatic emergency braking included for good measure.
Compare Bolt EUV Trims Side-By-Side
Tempting though Premier’s luxury features are, it’s hard to argue with the value of LT models. If your budget will stretch to $35,000, the Driver Confidence and Comfort packs are well worth adding to this trim.
