2022 Bronco still arriving

The carryover 2022 Bronco continues flowing into dealers nationwide. The lineup gains a high-performance Raptor model, plus Everglades and Heritage Edition trim packages.

Snag one now if you can — there may not be any more models leaving the factory for a while. Ford has already stopped taking orders for the 2022 Bronco due to the ongoing chip shortage and unrelenting demand. As a result, dealers might start taking orders for the 2023 Bronco soon.

The Bronco is far more rugged than the Bronco Sport — which is based on the Escape crossover and priced $1,700 lower to start — and comes in two- and four-door body styles. Interest is high, so don't expect any discounting. In fact, we've heard that some dealers are marking up prices.

Current factory incentives will run through May 31, 2022. This page is updated monthly, so check back for the latest on Bronco pricing.

Ford Bronco Lease Deals

No lease offers yet

There are no lease specials on the 2022 Bronco, which isn't surprising since the 2022s got off to later start this year. We expect offers to start as soon as next month, although it may be difficult to find the model you want.

Ford Bronco Rebate Deals

No cash offers expected

Clearly, Ford will have no problem selling all the Broncos it can make. There are no rebates on the 2022 Bronco, and it's even excluded from Ford's Friends and Neighbors (X-Plan) pricing.

Buyers may have to wait many months to see any discounts or even just to buy one.

Ford Bronco Finance Deals

See dealers for APR options

There are no factory finance offers on the 2022 Bronco, but you can probably find favorable rates at the dealer level.

In contrast, Ford offers promotional rates on the 2022 Bronco Sport starting at 0.9% APR for 36 months.

Introduction

What's New

The 2022 Ford Bronco remains in high demand following its successful rebirth last year. The Sasquatch Package is now available on models equipped with manual transmission. The Black Diamond and Badlands trims adopt Ford's Capable Front Bumper, a powder-coated steel unit with integrated recovery points and fog lamps.

Choosing Your Ford Bronco

The 2022 Bronco SUV comes in six trim levels in either a two-door or four-door configuration: Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, and Wildtrak. Pricing starts at $30,795 including destination and climbs to $49,275 for the Wildtrak before options.

Separately, Ford also offers the Bronco Sport, a burly-looking small crossover that has more in common with the Escape than the larger Bronco.

Engine Choices

The Bronco starts out with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, and a V6 turbo is optional.

A seven-speed manual transmission is standard with the 2.3-liter engine, and a 10-speed automatic is available for $1,595.

The V6 comes exclusively with the automatic. This combo is standard on the line-topping Wildtrak and costs $3,490 on the Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, and Badlands. The V6 drops to $1,895 on the Outer Banks because the automatic is already standard.

The standard four-wheel-drive system features selectable engagement, a terrain selector, and a two-speed transfer case. The available Advanced 4x4 system also offers automatic engagement and additional terrain selections. This setup is standard on the Badlands and Wildtrak — and costs anywhere from $795 to $7,385 on the others depending on trim level and body style.

Passenger and Cargo Capacity

The two-door Broncoprovides seating for four, while the longer four-door Bronco can seat up to five. The doors and roof are removable. A hardtop is standard on all versions except the Base four-door, where it costs $695.

Two-doors offer 22.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seat and 52.3 cubic feet with it folded. As expected, the four-door Bronco is far better at handling stuff. Buyers get 35.6 cubic feet of space behind the rear seat and 77.6 cubic feet with it down.

Safety Features

The Base model comes with automatic high beams and front collision mitigation with automatic braking and pedestrian detection.

The Ford Co-Pilot360 suite of driver assistance technology is part of the Mid Package ($1,495) for the Big Bend, Black Diamond, and Badlands. Co-Pilot360 includes lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. These features are standard on the Outer Banks and Wildtrak.

The High Package ($1,295) for the Outer Banks and Wildtrak ($1,295) includes surround-view cameras and front parking sensors. There's also a Lux Package ($3,590) for these trims with adaptive cruise control and evasive steering assist. The latter two items are also available on the Badlands in a Lux Package priced at $5,085.

Connectivity

The Bronco's standard infotainment system includes an eight-inch touchscreen, six speakers, four USB ports, satellite radio, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Navigation is included in the Mid Package on eligible trims — and comes standard on the Outer Banks and Wildtrak.

The High Package provides a 12-inch touchscreen, and the Lux Package adds a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system and wireless device charging.

Bronco Base — MSRP From $30,795

The Bronco starts off with basics like manual climate control, cruise control, push-button start, keyless entry, heated side mirrors, and cloth seats. The exterior receives tow hooks, bash plates, LED headlights, and 16-inch silver steel wheels with 30-inch all-season tires.

The Sasquatch Package ($4,995) enhances the Bronco's off-road prowess with electronically locking axles, a lifted suspension, and mud-terrain tires on 17-inch gloss black wheels.

Bronco Big Bend — MSRP From $35,280

The Big Bend picks up LED fog lights, rear privacy glass, interior grab handles, 17-inch gray aluminum wheels, and 32-inch all-terrain tires. In addition to its safety upgrades, the expansive Mid Package offers proximity keyless access, automatic dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, remote start, lighted vanity mirrors, a household-style power outlet, ambient footwell lighting, and enhanced voice recognition.

Bronco Black Diamond — MSRP From $37,945

The Black Diamond goes farther into the wild with a locking rear differential, auxiliary switches, marine-grade vinyl upholstery, rubberized flooring, full underbody bash plates, and the new Capable Front Bumper. Other equipment and options are shared with the Big Bend.

Bronco Outer Banks — MSRP From $40,850

The Mid Package is standard on the Outer Banks, along with the automatic transmission, signature LED exterior lighting, and 18-inch high gloss black wheels. Besides the larger touchscreen and surround-view cameras, the High Package adds an upgraded navigation system, extra sound insulation, and LED approach lights and spotlights in the side mirrors. These items are also available in the Lux Package, along with a heated steering wheel, a universal home remote, and the aforementioned safety and connectivity upgrades.

Bronco Badlands — MSRP From $43,990

The Badlands builds on the Black Diamond with the Advanced 4x4 system, electronically locking axles, front stabilizer bar disconnect, and 33-inch tires as standard equipment. To this, buyers can add the Mid Package or Lux Package.

Bronco Wildtrak — MSRP From $49,275

The Wildtrak comes standard with the Badland's off-road hardware, augmented by 35-inch tires and the Sasquatch Package. Non-performance features and option packages are shared with the Outer Banks.

CarsDirect Tip

Any 2022 Ford Bronco will serve as a capable off-road companion and can be scaled to your desired level of adventure. If you plan on using your Bronco for everyday transportation as well, we recommend the Big Bend for overall value and the Outer Banks if you want advanced safety features.
