2023 Genesis G80 Arriving With Limited Availability, 2022s Sold Out
The Genesis G80 is all-new with a design that is similar to the flagship G90 sedan. Along with the G70, it is one of three Genesis sedan models. The 2023 Genesis G80 is arriving at dealerships soon, while the 2022 model is sold out. The 2023s are unchanged except for a newly available all-electric variant. It will be the brand's first electric car.
In addition to its special offers, Genesis supplies three years of complimentary maintenance. Thin dealer inventories due to the chip shortage mean your choice of G80 models will be limited. Quite possibly, you will have to work with your dealer to locate one.

Genesis G80 Lease Deals
Lease From $559/mo.
Genesis has two lease deals in place for the 2023 G80. The first one is for the 2.5T RWD model and it comes with a monthly payment of $559 for 36 months with $4,999 due at signing. Your effective monthly cost is $698. This is a competitive offer.
The second one is for the AWD EV model and requires $899 per month for 36 months with $5,999 due at signing. The effective monthly cost is $1,066. This is a decent deal.
Genesis' lease deals include 10,000 miles per year of driving. At lease end, you will pay a disposition fee.
Genesis G80 Rebate Deals
No cash incentives
Genesis does not have any cash incentives for the 2023 G80 this month.
Genesis does offer a $400 College Graduate Program rebate, a Military Personnel Program rebate with a $500 reward, and a First Responders Personnel Program offering $500 off. Check with your Genesis dealer to determine eligibility for these programs.
Genesis G80 Financing Deals
Rates From 3.49% APR
You can finance your 2023 G80 for a 3.49% APR for up to 60 months. If you prefer a 72-month loan, the rate rises to 4.49% APR. Since 0% financing from a luxury brand is unusual, this is a deal that is worth considering. These rates are primarily regional and are available in LA, NYC, and Philadelphia.

The 2023 Genesis G80 lineup gains an Electrified model promising 282 miles of electric range. The gas-powered four-cylinder 2.5T Sport Prestige picks up a larger digital instrument screen, sporty exterior trim, and other features previously reserved for V6 models. The current G80 debuted in 2021.
Choosing Your Genesis G80
The gas four-cylinder G80 2.5T comes in three trim levels: Standard, Advanced, and Sport Prestige. Pricing starts at $50,595 including destination and climbs to $61,395 for the Sport Prestige. The V6 G80 3.5T is offered in Sport and Sport Prestige trims, priced from $66,345 and $72,345, respectively.
The new Electrified G8 comes in a single trim level comparable to the Sport Prestige, priced from $80,920. According to Genesis, the Electrified G8 is available in just 11 states currently (AZ, CA, CT, NH, NJ, MA, MD, NA, NY, UT, VA, and WA).
Engine Choices
The 2.5T models offer a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and standard rear-wheel drive. All-wheel drive costs $3,150 on the 2.5T. A turbocharged V6 is standard on the 3.5T, along with AWD. Both engines use an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Electrified G80 carries a pair of electric motors and standard AWD. A single-speed automatic transmission handles the shifting.

Passenger and Cargo Capacity
The G80 is a midsize luxury sedan with plenty of room for five to get comfortable. However, the trunk holds 13.1 cubic feet, which is barely average for a sedan this size. The Electrified G80's trunk comes up seriously short at just 10.8 cubic feet. Note that folding rear seats aren't available on any G80.
Safety Features
Every G80 comes nicely loaded for safety with adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring with evasive steering assist, lane-keeping assist, parking sensors, automatic high beams, driver alertness monitoring, and automatic emergency braking. The 2.5T Sport Prestige, 3.5T, and Electrified G80 also carry an automated parking system with remote activation, surround-view cameras, a head-up display, rear automatic emergency braking, and blind-spot camera views.
Connectivity
The standard infotainment system for the G80 features a 14.5-inch touchscreen, navigation, HD and satellite radio, 12 speakers, four USB ports, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. A 21-speaker Lexicon sound system is standard starting with the 2.5T Advanced. The 2.5T Sport Prestige, 3.5T, and Electrified G80 also get wireless phone charging and remote smartphone-based vehicle controls.
2023 Genesis G80 2.5T Standard — MSRP From $50,595
The most affordable G80 offers a synthetic leather interior with heated 12-way power front seats, an 8-inch instrument screen, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Other features include LED headlights and taillights, automatic wipers, a power trunk lid, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Models equipped with AWD include a heated steering wheel and heated rear seats.
2023 Genesis G80 2.5T Advanced — MSRP From $58,445
The Advanced adds a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, wood interior trim, rear sunshades, tri-zone climate control, and the 21-speaker Lexicon sound system. Buyers also get a hands-free power trunk lid and 19-inch wheels.
2023 Genesis G80 2.5T Sport Prestige — MSRP From $61,395
The Sport Prestige adopts more aggressive exterior trim, aluminum trim inside, a 12.3-inch instrument screen, and performance brakes. Leather upholstery is standard, along with a 16-way power driver seat, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and power-closing doors.

The 3.5T adds the turbocharged V6, plus standard all-wheel drive and an adaptive suspension system with road-previewing capability.

Compare G80 Trims Side-By-Side
The 2023 Genesis G80 is principally a luxury sedan and gets expensive with the V6 and AWD added, so we don't think either one is particularly necessary. The new Electrified G80 has enough range and features to compete with some exclusive company, but its limited sales and service footprint makes it a niche player for now.
