2023 Genesis GV60 arriving with limited availability
The Genesis GV60 is an all-new EV that may be extremely hard to find when it arrives this summer. Genesis says availability will be very limited, and the first deals are limited to California, Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York. This could make it hard to get a good price on the brand's first electric crossover vehicle.
Because of changes to the federal tax credit, the 2023 GV60 won't be eligible for the $7,500 electric vehicle tax credit. The electric SUV could still qualify for state plug-in rebates like the California Clean Fuel Reward. Not all of these incentives work in the same way, so be sure to ask your Genesis salesperson for details to get a fuller understanding of your estimated final costs.

Genesis GV60 Lease Deals
From $799 for 36 months
The 2023 Genesis GV60 is available with a new lease deal this month. The Advanced trim is available with a monthly payment of $799 for 36 months with $5,999 due at signing. The effective monthly cost with this deal is $966, which is high.
Unfortunately, leasing a GV60 may be a bad idea since Genesis isn't offering any lease cash. In fact, the company kept the federal tax credit on leases when it was still available. This put lessees at a severe disadvantage compared to those looking to buy.
Genesis has dropped its lease-like alternative called Genesis Discover Retail involving balloon financing for the GV60. Genesis' balloon financing programs used to let buyers get a 2023 GV60 Advanced EV at $879 per month for 36 months with $5,750 due at signing.
Genesis GV60 Rebate Deals
No cash incentives
Genesis doesn't have any rebate deals yet on the 2023 GV60.
The brand does offer loyalty discounts and so-called conquest cash incentives sometimes on select models. These deals can reward returning Genesis or Hyundai customers or offer a bonus to those switching from a competing brand. We may see offers like these in the future, but there's no guarantee.
Genesis GV60 Financing Deals
Rates from 4.49% APR for 60 months
You can finance a 2023 GV60 at rates starting at 4.49% APR for up to 60 months. That's largely in line with other Genesis models and isn't a bad interest rate for an all-new vehicle. If you'd prefer a lower monthly payment, there's also 72-month financing at a higher rate of 4.99%. These financing rates are only available in CA, CT, NJ, and NY.
A longer loan may be a good idea if your priority is having the lowest payment possible. However, when you factor in the cost of interest, your total cost may be more expensive than a shorter loan.

After Genesis solidified its place in the luxury segment as a bona fide option, the South Korean brand is now setting its sights on the all-electric scene. The automaker’s first all-electric vehicle is the 2023 GV60. The all-new GV60 shares its platform with the Hyundai IONIQ 5 and Kia EV6 but features a more premium design, more high-tech features, and standard all-wheel drive. Of course, the GV60 also represents strong value in an electric class that’s filled with pricey options.
Choosing Your Genesis GV60
Genesis offers the 2023 GV60 in two trims: Advanced and Performance. Pricing for the GV60 starts at $59,985 (with destination) and goes up to $68,985. In Genesis’ lineup of SUVs, the GV60 sits above the compact GV70 and below the midsize GV80.
Engine Choices
While Genesis has plans to expand the number of available powertrains for the GV60 in the future, the 2023 model year is only available with a single powertrain. The electric SUV comes with a dual-motor configuration with standard AWD and a 77.4-kWh battery pack. The Advanced trim is rated at 314 horsepower, while the Performance trim produces up to 483 hp.
The GV60 Advanced trim has a range of up to 248 miles with the Performance model being able to travel up to 235 miles. The GV60 has fast-charging capability, being able to go from 10% to 80% of charge in just 18 minutes. Official fuel economy figures for the GV60 are 90 MPGe combined with the Performance trim and 95 MPGe combined with the Advanced trim.
Passenger and Cargo Capacity
Every GV60 offers seating for up to five people. Cargo capacity for the SUV measures 24 cubic feet with the rear seat in place and a total of 54.7 cubic feet of cargo space when they're folded. The GV60’s front trunk offers storage for small items.
Safety Features
The GV60’s list of standard safety features is impressive. The electric SUV comes standard with forward collision warning, forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, safe exit assist, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, automatic high-beam assist, a driver attention monitor, a surround-view camera, rear cross-traffic alert, and remote smart parking assist. The GV60 also comes with Hyundai’s Highway Driving Assist 2 system.
Connectivity
The GV60’s dashboard features a 12.3-inch touchscreen, as well as a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster that are connected by a single panel. Standard features with the infotainment system include Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, a wireless charging pad, four USB-C ports, navigation, a head-up display, facial recognition, and fingerprint authentication.

On the outside, the Advanced trim comes standard with a glass roof, a hands-free liftgate, 20-inch wheels, LED headlights and taillights, power-retractable door handles, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and auto-dimming mirrors. The cabin features leather upholstery, 14-way power-adjustable front seats, heated and ventilated front seats, ambient interior lighting, dual-zone climate control, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
2023 Genesis GV60 Performance – MSRP From $68,985
On top of the Performance trim’s more powerful electric motors, the trim also comes with adaptive suspension, a limited-slip differential, Nappa leather upholstery, an Ergo Motion driver’s seat, and heated rear seats.

While the 2023 Genesis GV60’s Performance trim is tempting, the Advanced trim is the better buy. It’s more affordable, has more range, comes just as well-equipped, and has better fuel economy figures. We think the $10,000 difference is better put in a savings account than on getting an extra 169 hp.
