2023 Elantras Arriving With Limited Availability; 2022s Sold Out

The 2023 Hyundai Elantra is arriving at dealerships, while the 2022 model is sold out. The Elantra received a full redesign last year that parallels the midsize Sonata. The new Elantra is also the recipient of the prestigious 2021 North American Car of the Year award. Also new are the first-ever Elantra Hybrid and the high-performance Elantra N. Certain deals on the now arriving 2023s are in place. Inventories will be tight due to the ongoing semiconductor chip shortage.

This page is updated monthly with the most recent incentives, so be sure to check back for the latest information. The current offers end on October 31, 2022. Examples here are for Southern California but expect to see similar deals in other parts of the country.

Hyundai Elantra Lease Deals

Lease From $219/Month

You can lease the 2023 Hyundai Elantra SE trim starting at $219 per month for 36 months with $3,299 due at signing. The effective monthly cost with this deal is $311, which is a competitive deal.

This month, the 2023 Elantra Blue Hybrid is available with a new lease deal. It requires $339 per month for 36 months with $3,299 due at signing. The effective monthly cost with this deal is $431, which is high.

Hyundai is also offering the Elantra N with its own lease deal. This is one for models with a manual transmission and requires $445 per month for 36 months with $3,299 due at signing. The effective monthly cost is $537, which is high, but this is a performance car.

Most Hyundai lease deals supply a 10,000-mile per year drive allowance. At the end of the lease term, you’ll pay a disposition fee.

Hyundai Elantra Rebate Deals

No Rebate Available

Hyundai has deleted its available rebates for the 2023 Elantra. We could see a rebate arrive before the end of the year.

Last month, Hyundai was offering the 2022 Elantra N with a $500 finance bonus for shoppers that got financing through Hyundai and chose the standard finance rate.

Hyundai also supplies multiple special incentives worth noting. The company’s College Grad Program offers $400 toward the purchase or lease of a new vehicle. A Military Program and First Responders Program supply $500 in cash each toward the purchase or lease of a new Hyundai. Finally, there is a Mobility Program that offers $1,000 for the purchase of adaptive equipment in your Hyundai. See your dealer about each of these special offers to determine your eligibility.

Hyundai Elantra Finance Deals

Introduction

What's New

The 2023 Hyundai Elantra carries over without any major changes for the new model year. In the compact class, the Elantra is one of the few vehicles to be available in a wide range of models. From efficient driver to comfortable daily, the Elantra covers its bases for most people, but also goes above and beyond with its track-oriented N model. Not to mention, the Elantra is also one of the more value-oriented vehicles in the class.

Hyundai has discontinued the Elantra N Line for 2023.

Choosing Your Hyundai Elantra

There are numerous 2023 Elantras to choose from. Sticking with the standard gas-powered Elantra means that you have three trims to explore: SE, SEL, and Limited. Pricing ranges from $21,545 (including destination) to $27,395.

Pricing for the 2023 Elantra Hybrid hasn’t been announced yet, but the 2022 model is available in Blue ($25,195) and Limited ($29,695).

Lastly, there’s the Elantra N, which is only available in a single trim that started at $33,245 for the 2022 model year.

Engine Choices

Hyundai offers the Elantra with a wide range of trims. All three models come with their own engine with range and performance varying wildly depending on the model.

Transmissions differ depending on the model. The standard 2.0-liter engine comes with a standard continuously variable automatic transmission, the hybrid comes with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and the Elantra N is offered with a six-speed manual and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Every Elantra comes with front-wheel drive.

For most shoppers, the base 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is a fine option, though it does lack a lot of passing power on the highway. Consumers looking to save money on fuel should consider the Elantra Hybrid, which justifies its higher price tag with amazing fuel economy.

The Elantra N brings far more power and extra performance parts to be a track-oriented machine. It’s also the only model in the lineup that’s offered with a manual transmission. It’s an absolute monster but will guzzle fuel compared to the other two models.

2.0-liter turbo-four267 hp289 lb-ftN/A
1.6-liter hybrid four139 hp195 lb-ft54 mpg

Passenger and Cargo Capacity

All 2023 Elantras have seating for up to five people. In the class, the compact sedan stands out for offering 38 inches of rear legroom, which is a large figure for the segment.

Consumers get 14 cubic feet of cargo space in the trunk. Higher trims offer folding rear seatbacks for bulky items.

Safety Features

Hyundai offers the Elantra with an extensive list of standard safety features. Forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, pedestrian detection, lane keeping assist, a driver attention monitor, safe exit warning, and automatic high-beam assist are standard.

On the gas-powered Elantra, adaptive cruise control and junction turning detection are available with the $1,900 Convenience Package. Highway Driving Assist is standard on the range-topping Limited trim.

Connectivity

Even the base Elantra comes with high-tech features. An 8-inch touchscreen is standard, as is wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, four audio speakers, two USB ports, and Bluetooth. The $1,900 Convenience Package brings a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, navigation, voice recognition, a wireless charging pad, and six audio speakers. A Bose audio system and Hyundai’s digital app are also available.

2023 Hyundai Elantra Interior

2023 Hyundai Elantra SE – MSRP From $21,545

The Elantra SE may be the entry-level model in the lineup, but it comes well equipped at this price point. It comes standard with LED daytime running lights, automatic headlights, cloth upholstery, a six-way adjustable driver’s seat, remote keyless entry, a 4.2-inch display in the instrument cluster, and a tilt-and-telescoping steering column.

2023 Hyundai Elantra SEL – MSRP From $22,795

Moving up to the SEL trim adds a hands-free trunk dual-zone automatic climate control, push-button start, satellite radio, and illuminated vanity mirrors.

The SEL is available with the $1,900 Convenience Package that adds 17-inch wheels, heated front seats, heated exterior mirrors, an electronic parking brake, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

2023 Hyundai Elantra Blue Hybrid - MSRP TBD

The Blue is the most affordable Elantra Hybrid and comes with similar features to the SEL trim.

2023 Hyundai Elantra Limited – MSRP From $27,395

Both the gas-powered and hybrid Elantra are available in Limited trims. We expect the hybrid model to be roughly $2,300 more than the gas-powered Elantra, but both come with similar features.

The Limited trim comes standard with all of the features from the Convenience Package, LED exterior lighting, leather upholstery, and customizable ambient interior lighting.

2023 Hyundai Elantra N – MSRP TBD

The sporty Elantra N emphasizes performance. Standard features include an electronic limited-slip differential, adaptive suspension, 14.2-inch front brake rotors, and 19-inch alloy wheels with Michelin summer tires. Exterior features include a variable exhaust system, LED lighting, black trim, an N body kit, and heated exterior mirrors. The interior comes with sport bucket seats, heated front seats, alloy pedals, 64-color ambient lighting, and dual-zone automatic climate control.

CarsDirect Tip

For most buyers, the 2023 Hyundai Elantra SEL trim with the available Convenience Package offers the most value for the money. Drivers looking to save money on gas should stick with the Elantra Hybrid Blue, which comes similarly equipped, but adds the incredibly efficient engine into the mix. The Elantra N offers similar performance to a sports car in a versatile sedan body, but its high price tag is indicative of the high-performance components that it comes with.
