The latest model is a complete overhaul with a modern and upscale look. A range-topping Calligraphy trim retails for over $43,000, bringing with it advanced features. A hybrid model is new this year, while a PHEV was just recently introduced. New for 2022 is a new Santa Fe XRT trim with a blackout look priced between the SEL and Limited.

The current offers end on May 31, 2022. Examples here are for Southern California but expect to see similar deals in other parts of the country. This page is updated monthly with the most recent incentives, so be sure to check back for the latest information.

You can lease a 2022 Santa Fe SE and you’ll pay $269 per month for 36 months with $3,899 due at signing. Your effective monthly cost is $377 and this is a good deal.

Earlier this year, the 2022 Santa Fe Blue Hybrid was available with a lease deal for $419 per month for 36 months with $0 due at signing. Here, your effective monthly cost is $419, which is a great value relative to the vehicle's MSRP.

The last deal earlier this year was for the 2.5L SEL FWD trim. It's available with a monthly payment of $339 per month for 36 months with $0 due at signing. The effective monthly cost is $339, which is a very good offer.

We could see the lease deal for the Santa Fe Blue Hybrid and SEL FWD trim return later this year.

Most Hyundai leases come with a 10,000-mile per year driving allowance. At the end of the lease term, you’ll pay a disposition fee.

Hyundai Santa Fe Rebate Deals

Noteworthy Targeted Incentives

Also, Military and First Responders programs supply $500 in cash each toward the purchase or lease of a new Hyundai. Finally, there is a Mobility Program that offers $1,000 for the purchase of adaptive equipment in your Hyundai. See your dealer about each of these special offers and determine your eligibility.

The Santa Fe PHEV is available with government-backed incentives. All buyers may qualify for up to $6,587 of the federal tax credit. For California residents, the PHEV model is eligible for $1,000 with the California Clean Vehicle Rebate and $658 through the California Clean Fuel Reward.

What's New

The 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe is still fresh from last year’s redesign but still sees significant updates in the form of a new outdoorsy-themed XRT trim, a new Plug-In Hybrid powertrain, and expanded application of safety and convenience features.

Choosing Your Hyundai Santa Fe

The Santa Fe SUV is available in five trims; SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, and Calligraphy, that range in price from $28,625 to $42,185.

The Hybrid (HEV) crossover is offered in Blue, SEL Premium, and Limited trims and prices range from $34,935 to $41,345. The Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) is offered in two trims; SEL Convenience ($40,535) and Limited ($46,545).

Engine Choices

A naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine is found in the SE, SEL, and XRT trims. It produces 191 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque and is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The more powerful 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder is featured in the Limited and Calligraphy trims and achieves 281 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque and is bolted to an eight-speed dual-clutch automated transmission. Front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard while all-wheel drive (AWD) is available with both engines (and on all trims) for $1,700.

The Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid models are equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a motor that is sandwiched between the engine and transmission. Power is routed through a six-speed automated single-clutch transmission to a standard all-wheel-drive system. The Hybrid model saves weight and expense with a less powerful electrified system than the PHEV and utilizes a 1.49 kWh battery pack and a 44.2 kW motor which creates a combined 226 horsepower and delivers 195 pound-feet of instantaneous torque.

The PHEV incorporates a larger 13.8 kWh battery pack and a 66.9 kW motor to achieve 261 combined horsepower and 224 pound-feet of off-the-line torque.

The base gasoline engine earns an EPA-estimated 26 miles per gallon combined or 24 mpg when equipped with AWD. The larger turbocharged engine’s enhanced transmission helps it achieve similar figures of 25 mpg (FWD) and 24 mpg when equipped with AWD.

While the Hybrid’s Blue trim achieves 34 mpg combined, most of its trims are rated at 32 mpg combined. The PHEV scores a 76 MPGE rating and can deliver an estimated 30 miles on electric power only.

The 2.5-liter turbocharged powertrains are capable of towing 3,500 pounds while the other configurations are rated for 2,000 pounds.

Passenger and Cargo Capacity

The Santa Fe is a five-passenger crossover that stretches to 188.4 inches in length and sits 74.8-inches wide which is about eight inches shorter and three inches narrower than the three-row Hyundai Palisade.

The Santa Fe’s 108.9 -inch wheelbase affords 41.7 inches of rear legroom in the gas model - although that is reduced to 40.8 inches in the Hybrid and 39.5-inches in the PHEV - and 36.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row and 72.1 cubic feet with the second-row seatbacks folded.

Safety Features

All models are equipped with blind-spot detection with steering assist, rear cross-traffic assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, safe exit warning, and rear occupant detection (with an ultrasonic sensor in the XRT and up trims).

The Limited trim gains highway driving assist, a blind-spot camera display in the gauge cluster, and front and rear parking sensors.

The Santa Fe earns a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA and is an IIHS 2021 Top Safety Pick+.

The base SE trim is equipped with an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and HD Radio compatibility with dual front and rear USB ports.

The Blue and SEL trims add Hyundai’s Blue Link connected services, as well as SiriusXM, and the Limited trims gain a 10.25-inch touchscreen with navigation and a 12-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system.

Santa Fe SE - MSRP From $28,625

The base SE trim is equipped with 18-in wheels, LED daytime running lights and headlights, a laminated front windshield, cloth seats with a six-way adjustable driver’s seat, a 4.2-inch driver information display, and one-touch up/down functionality for the driver’s window. There are no available option packages.

Santa Fe SEL - MSRP From $30,225

The SEL trim gains a chrome grille and exterior trim, a silver-painted faux skid plate, silver roof rails, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals, proximity entry, heated front seats, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and expanded one-touch controls that also includes the front passenger’s window.

The Hybrid’s Blue trim is priced from $34,935 and is similarly equipped, albeit with 17-inch wheels but does not offer any option packages.

The gasoline-only powered SEL trim offers a $1,700 Convenience Package adds a hands-free power tailgate, a digital key, mirrors with integrated turn signals and puddle lights, laminated front side windows, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, dual-zone automatic climate control, power release rear seatbacks, rear window shades, and an ultrasonic rear passenger detection system.

With the Convenience Package selected, the $4,060 Premium Package is available. It adds a panoramic sunroof, LED taillights, leather seating, a larger infotainment screen, premium audio, an eight-way power passenger seat, and LED interior lighting.

The Hybrid SEL Premium trim is $38,995 and is equipped with 19-inch as well as the features of the Premium Package.

The Plug-In Hybrid model’s SEL Convenience trim is priced from $40,535 and incorporates the features of the Convenience Package but does not offer the Premium Package.

Santa Fe XRT - MSRP From $33,525

The new XRT trim features distinct rugged looks courtesy of unique front and rear lower fascia, dark exterior trim, black 18-inch wheels, chunky lower door body cladding, side steps, black roof rails with crossbars, and black mirror housings.

It also includes many of the features of the SEL’s Convenience Package such as a 12.3-inch gauge cluster display, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, a digital key, and a wireless charging pad. There are no available packages.

Santa Fe Limited - MSRP From $40,185

The Limited trim features 19-inch wheels, chrome door handle inserts, rain-sensing wipers, a panoramic sunroof, a hands-free power tailgate, power-folding mirrors, and remote parking assist (aka Smart Park).

The interior gains leather seats with ventilation and cushion extensions for the front passengers, memory positioning for the driver, a heated steering wheel, premium soft-padded door panels, a surround-view camera system, premium audio, heated rear seats, rear window shades, and a 115-volt power outlet.

The Hybrid’s Limited trim is priced at $41,345 and the PHEV’s Limited trim is $46,545. Both are similarly equipped.

Santa Fe Calligraphy - MSRP From $42,185

The top tier trim features 20-inch wheels, a unique dark chrome grille, body-colored fender trim, lower door trim, and rear fascia, premium Nappa leather seating with quilted stitching patterns that also extend to the door panels, a suede-like headliner, ambient interior lighting, a head-up display, and a perforated leather-wrapped steering wheel.

The Calligraphy trim is not available in the Hybrid or PHEV models.
