Every QX55 carries a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 268 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. Standard all-wheel drive and a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) complete the mechanical setup.
According to EPA estimates, the QX55 delivers miles per gallon city, 28 mpg highway, and 25 combined.
Passenger and Cargo Capacity
The QX55 is a compact, two-row luxury crossover with seating for five. The sloping roof limits rear headroom somewhat, but the QX55 is still spacious for its size.
The QX55 offers 26.9 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seat and 54.1 cubic feet with it folded. These are typical numbers for a coupe-styled crossover.
Safety Features
Most driver assistance features are now standard on the QX55. Every trim comes with lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with steering assist, blind-spot monitoring with evasive steering assist, adaptive LED front lighting, automatic high beams, rear parking sensors, and front and rear automatic emergency braking.
The Essential and Sensory also get surround-view cameras and front parking sensors. A head-up display is exclusive to the Sensory.
Connectivity
The QX55's standard infotainment system features an 8-inch upper and 7-inch lower touchscreen, six speakers, four USB ports, satellite radio, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wired Android Auto.
Upgrading to the Essential and Sensory brings navigation and 16-speaker Bose sound.
2023 INFINITI QX55 Luxe – MSRP From $50,345
The Luxe now features a perforated leather interior with a 12-way power driver seat and 8-way power passenger seat, aluminum trim, a universal home remote, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Other features include a sunroof, a power liftgate, remote start, 20-inch wheels, LED fog lights, and acoustic front side glass.
2023 INFINITI QX55 Essential – MSRP From $55,445
In addition to its safety and connectivity upgrades, the Essential picks up heated and ventilated front seats, driver memory, a heated power-adjustable steering wheel, automatic wipers, and reverse-tilting side mirrors. The exterior gets cubed headlights.
2023 INFINITI QX55 Sensory – MSRP From $58,995
The Sensory gets interior upgrades like semi-aniline leather upholstery, a 12-way power passenger seat, tri-zone climate control, wood trim, heated rear seats, and enhanced ambient lighting. A hands-free power liftgate is also standard.
