Introduction

What's New

The 2022 Lincoln Corsair continues as the brand's entry-level vehicle with minimal change. Some option packages have been tweaked to better reflect buying habits. The Corsair debuted in 2020, and a hybrid variant arrived last year.

Choosing Your Lincoln Corsair

The Lincoln Corsair small luxury SUV is once again offered in three trim levels: Standard, Reserve, and Grand Touring. Pricing starts at $37,200 including destination and stretches to $51,425 for the plug-in hybrid Grand Touring.

Engine Choices

The Standard and Reserve trims start with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, and a 2.3-liter turbo is optional. The Grand Touring carries a plug-in hybrid powerplant.

Pairing the 2.0-liter engine with all-wheel costs $4,850 on the Standard and $2,300 on the Reserve. This includes the cost of certain options that are required when adding AWD. The 2.3-liter engine comes exclusively with all-wheel drive for a total cost of $7,350 on the Standard and $4,800 on the Reserve. Both engines use an eight-speed automatic transmission.

AWD is standard on the Grand Touring, along with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Thanks to its plug-in technology, the Grand Touring offers up to 28 miles of range on electricity alone. After that, it runs on a combination of gas and electricity, earning an EPA-estimated 33 mpg in combined driving.

Safety Features

The Corsair comes standard with Lincoln Co-Pilot360, a bundle of driver assistance technology that includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, and rear parking sensors.

The optional Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Plus ($2,500) adds adaptive cruise control, evasive steering assist, surround-view cameras with washers, reverse automatic braking, front parking sensors, and an automated parking system.

A head-up display is included with the $2,200 Luxury Package for the Reserve and Grand Touring.

With those features in place, buyers can select the Premium Package ($3,450) with 19-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, and leather front seats.

Corsair Reserve — MSRP From $41,920

The Reserve picks up full leather upholstery, fully digital instrumentation, and a hands-free power liftgate.
