Choosing Your Toyota Corolla Hybrid

The Corolla Hybrid comes in a single trim level, LE, priced from $24,675 including destination.

Engine Choices

The Corolla Hybrid carries the same hybrid system as the brand's long-running Prius. Under the hood is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder gas engine, supplemented by an electric motor. Combined out is 121 horsepower and 105 lb-ft of torque. The Corolla Hybrid features front-wheel drive and a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).

Efficiency remains the Corolla Hybrid's overwhelming virtue. According to the EPA, buyers can expect 53 miles per gallon city, 52 mpg highway, and 52 combined.

Passenger and Cargo Capacity

Like its gas-powered sibling, the Corolla Hybrid offers legitimate room for five, along with 13.1 cubic feet of trunk space.

Safety Features

The Corolla Hybrid excels here with standard adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic high beams, road sign recognition, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. The only major feature that's not standard is blind-spot monitoring, which is available for $500.

Connectivity

The infotainment system for every Corolla Hybrid consists of an eight-inch touchscreen, six speakers, two USB ports, HD and satellite radio, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

LE — From $24,675

The sole trim level for Corolla Hybrid comes with cloth seating, push-button start, automatic climate control, heated side mirrors, full LED exterior lighting, and 15-inch alloy wheels. The new Premium Interior Package ($1,525) adds SofTex leatherette upholstery, a power driver seat, heated front seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
