2023 Volvo V60 - Exclusive Ashburn New Car Discounts

The 2023 Volvo V60 receives a new grille treatment and updated rear bumper inserts for a more contemporary look. The infotainment system adopts built-in Google apps. Changes to trim levels result in more standard equipment and fewer options.

The V60 Cross Country wagon comes in two trim levels this year: Plus and Ultimate. Pricing starts at $50,095 including destination and heads to $55,395 for the Ultimate.

The plug-in hybrid V60 Recharge comes in high-performance Polestar Engineered trim only for $71,845.

The V60 Cross Country carries a turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a mild hybrid assist. The V60 Recharge receives a supercharged version of the turbo four-cylinder and an electric motor. Plug-in technology allows the Recharge to travel up to 41 miles on electricity alone.

Both the Cross Country and Recharge feature standard all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Cross Country offers 8.3 inches of ground clearance for light to moderate off-roading. Towing capacity for both models is 2,000 pounds.

The V60 is a midsize wagon with ample room for five. As expected, cargo space is exceptional for a passenger car. The V60 can take on 22.9 cubic feet of family gear behind the rear seat and 60.5 cubic feet with it folded.

Every V60 comes loaded with driver assistance technology, including adaptive cruise control steering assist, surround-view cameras, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, road sign recognition, and parking sensors all around.

The Ultimate and Recharge also get a head-up display.

The V60's standard infotainment system includes a 9-inch touchscreen, 10 speakers, four USB ports, HD and satellite radio, Google apps (including navigation), wireless phone charging, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

A 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system is optional on the Plus ($800) and standard on the Ultimate. The Recharge carries a 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins system, which can be added to the Ultimate for $3,200.

The Plus offers a genuine leather interior with heated 12-way power front seats, driver memory, wood trim, and ambient lighting. Other features include a panoramic sunroof, automatic wipers, a 12-inch instrument display, and 18-inch polished aluminum wheels with gloss black accents. The available Climate Package ($750) tacks on heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and headlight washers.

The Ultimate provides a higher level of interior luxury. Upgrades include Nappa leather upholstery, ventilated front seats with power bolsters, a power driver seat extension, passenger seat memory, four-zone automatic climate control with air purification, and an Orrefors crystal shift knob. The Climate Package remains optional. The Ultimate rolls on 19-inch wheels.

Along with the plug-in hybrid powerplant, the Recharge receives Volvo's Polestar performance treatment. That means special chassis and suspension tuning, Brembo brakes, 19-inch forged wheels, and a mesh aluminum interior. The Climate Package and Bowers & Wilkins system are standard on the Recharge.
