
Sleek, svelte supercars seem to be all the rage, but there’s something delightfully devilish about a family-friendly four-door capable of racecar rivaling speed. With Dodge’s new-for-2015 Charger SRT Hellcat now taking the crown for the world’s fastest four-door, we take a look at the Top 10 fastest production sedans, with info on horsepower, 0-60 times, top speeds and pricing.
With entries hailing from the U.S., the U.K. and Germany, any of these sleeper sedans will outpace most of the fastest coupes on the market once speeds reach the triple-digit range, a testament to the sheer horsepower that they produce.

The just-announced Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat uses an insane supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine with no less than 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft. of torque. It runs the ¼-mile in 11 seconds flat on street tires, and is expected to start from just $60,000 or so.

The CTS-V used to be the fastest American sedan on the market, at least until the Charger Hellcat came around. With a 556-horsepower, 551-lb-ft.-torque supercharged 6.2-liter V8, it will be sold out soon as the next-generation 2015 CTS has hit the market… at least until the even crazier next-gen CTS-V comes along.
