The carryover 2023 Cadillac Escalade continues flowing into dealers nationwide. The high-performance Escalade V is new this year.

Demand is brisk relative to supply, and pricing could be on the high side for some time to come. There are no factory purchase offers of any kind yet.

The mid-level Premium Luxury model makes up the bulk of dealer inventory. The entry-level Luxury is much harder to find. The plush Premium Luxury Platinum is somewhat rare and often commands a full price. The Escalade also comes in two Sport trims. It may take some work to track down the model you want.

The 2023 Escalade in Premium Luxury trim now starts at $1,529 for 36 months (10,000 miles a year) with $4,999 due at signing.

The effective monthly cost works out to $1,668, which is very expensive, even for this price class. Terms may improve over the next several months, but we don't expect to see anything remarkable.

The extended-length Escalade ESV in Premium Luxury trim starts at $1,569 a month with $5,039 due at signing. That's no better in terms of value.
