2024 Acura ZDX Gets $1,000 Discount For Tesla Owners

It seems like Acura is trying to get current Tesla owners to purchase the all-new ZDX, which is the automaker’s first all-electric SUV that shares a lot of components with the Cadillac Lyriq. According to a bulletin that Acura recently sent to dealers, the 2024 Acura ZDX is available with a $1,000 conquest cash incentive that’s specifically for Tesla owners. The new “2024 ZDX AFS Lease Conquest Offer” provides current Tesla owners with an additional $1,000 off a ZDX when they lease the vehicle through Acura Financial Services.

To be eligible for the $1,000 conquest cash incentive, shoppers may have a 2014 or newer Tesla. A trade-in isn’t required and the deal can be transferred to members of the same household. The lease deal for the 2024 ZDX must be for 24 months or longer. This incentive is available until July 1st, 2024.

Shoppers who are interested in leasing the 2024 ZDX and have an eligible Tesla can also stack Acura’s new 2024 ZDX AFS Lease Conquest Offer. This offer can be stacked with the $7,500 lease incentive that Acura introduced in the middle of April.

The $7,500 lease incentive is Acura’s way of offering the electric SUV with cap cost reduction. The $7,500 incentive can be taken as either a tax credit from the IRS or can be transferred to a registered dealer and used as an immediate credit at the time of purchase. When combined with the $7,500 lease incentive, Acura shoppers with an eligible Tesla are looking at getting up to $8,500 off a ZDX.

While the Acura ZDX shares a lot of components with the Cadillac Lyriq, the two electric SUVs are priced differently. The Lyriq starts at $57,195, while the ZDX has a starting price tag of $64,500.

Acura offers the ZDX with a $7,500 lease incentive as a way of passing along the federal EV tax credit, while Cadillac doesn’t. Instead of offering the Lyriq with a $7,500 incentive, Cadillac offers its version of the electric SUV with an enhanced residual value that reflects the available $7,500 incentive.
