2024 Kia EV6 Has A $13,000 Discount Off MSRP

The Kia EV6 recently got its biggest discount to date. According to a bulletin sent to dealers last week, the 2024 Kia EV9 is now eligible for a $1,500 incentive on select VINs. What's more, our analysis found that you can potentially stack the discount with other incentives for as much as $12,800 in savings when leasing.

On May 10th, Kia introduced its Select VIN Summer Sticker Sales Event worth anywhere from $500 to $1,500 off most of its models. In the case of the 2024 Kia EV6, the discount is worth the maximum amount of $1,500. The best part is that you can combine the incentive with other EV6 financing and lease offers.

If you're buying one, the 2024 Kia EV6 has a $7,500 Customer Cash incentive for $9,000 in potential savings. However, there's also a loyalty discount worth $500 that can bring your savings to $9,500 off MSRP. Alternatively, shoppers can choose 0% financing for 60 months instead of the $7,500 Customer Cash incentive.

As before, leasing offers the most savings, especially on 24-month contracts, with between $9,300 and $10,800 in lease cash in states like California, Oregon, and Washington. The biggest discount can be found on the all-wheel-drive GT-Line. With the VIN Sticker bonus and the loyalty discount, that's $12,800 in savings.

So what's the catch? Unlike a normal customer cash incentive, only specially tagged vehicles are eligible for the VIN Sticker bonus. Confusingly, Kia's letter doesn't explain how this is determined. What's more, Kia told dealers that it'll add more VINs during the program period which is currently set to end on July 8th, 2024.

In other words, your results may vary from one car to the next. If you're cross-shopping the Kia EV6 against an IONIQ 5, it may be worth knowing that Hyundai is not yet offering a comparable VIN-based incentive. This could help make the Kia EV6 a better vehicle to lease assuming you qualify for every available offer.
