The Lexus TX 550h+ is the latest addition to the Lexus lineup. The three-row PHEV hasn't been on dealer lots long, but we've already begun seeing TX plug-in hybrid incentives. While we're still waiting on an advertised promotional lease deal, we do know that the plug-in is offered with $7,500 in lease cash. Here's what you need to know about the 2024 Lexus TX 550h+ lease discount.

A recent dealer bulletin revealed that the 2024 Lexus TX PHEV is being offered with $7,500 in lease cash. We don't see any indication that it's eligible for the federal EV tax credit, so we reckon that Lexus is taking advantage of a commercial lease loophole in the guidelines to pass on the savings to the consumer. Either way, the lease cash factored into TX 550h+ pricing should make for a competitive deal.

We haven't seen any lease deals advertised for the TX 550h+ PHEV yet, but we expect it to be more attractive to lease than the traditional hybrid variant. Lexus isn't currently offering the TX hybrid (or the gas TX, for that matter) with a promotional lease deal, but the PHEV is $5,400 more expensive than the hybrid before the credit at $78,050. When factoring in the $7,500 credit, the PHEV will effectively be the less expensive vehicle between the two to lease, despite the hybrid's lower MSRP.

More expensive electrified models being better to lease than their gas counterparts isn't a new phenomenon for Lexus. Just a few months ago, the Lexus NX hybrid was only $10 a month more expensive to lease than the gas model despite being $2,000 more expensive and getting superior fuel economy. The NX hybrid benefitted from a higher residual value, and while that isn't the case with the TX PHEV and hybrid, we expect the $7,500 lease cash to make the PHEV a better value.
