A handful of automakers are offering disaster relief for Kentucky residents affected by a devastating tornado on December 10th. According to dealer incentive bulletins, those with vehicle damage or a total loss may qualify for up to $1,000 in assistance good toward the purchase or lease of a qualifying replacement vehicle.
On Wednesday, GM began offering $1,000 in Disaster Relief Bonus Cash on nearly every 2022 Chevy, Cadillac, Buick, and GMC vehicle through February 28th. In the case of vehicles like the Buick Enclave, the program can be combined with other incentives like 0% APR financing for up to 72 months for maximum savings.
To qualify for GM Disaster Relief, residents of designated Kentucky counties of Caldwell, Fulton, Graves, Hopkins, Marshall, Muhlenberg, Taylor, and Warren will need to show a copy of an insurance form indicating damage as a result of the tornado. A separate incentive for leases is available but is limited to just a $500 discount.
As of yesterday, Stellantis began offering $500 off the purchase or lease of select Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM, FIAT, and Alfa Romeo vehicles. The 2021 Grand Cherokee currently offers one of the best APR deals on an SUV with 0% for 72 months ahead of a major redesign. The program is set to end on January 31st.
In the case of the offer from Stellantis, the offer is available as an update to an existing tornado disaster relief incentive for the Midwest region encompassing residents of Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, and Texas. If you think you may be eligible for the offer, now may be a good time to start looking for a participating dealer.
