Chevy buyers just got a second chance to take advantage of last week's stellar July Fourth truck offer. According to a bulletin sent to dealers, the automaker has extended a 20% discount on the all-new Silverado through the end of the month. This continues to be the best deal we've seen to date on the redesigned truck.

Through July 31, consumers can get up to a 20% discount on the 2019 Silverado 1500. However, as before, Double Cabs are the only versions eligible for the full discount. Prefer a Crew Cab? Chevy is offering a smaller discount worth 15% off MSRP, although the deal is limited the value-oriented 1LT variant.

With 20% off, Chevy says consumers can save up to $9,755 on the new Silverado. That said, a closer look reveals that amount assumes you're going to opt for an LT Z71 Double Cab with the All Star Package, which has an MSRP of $48,775. All Star models include a package discount, in a sense inflating Chevy's advertised offer.

Like other so-called standalone offers, the deal can't be combined with special financing incentives like 0% APR for 72 months. Sadly, Chevy has opted not to extend other July Fourth offers like a $500 bonus and extra lease cash past July 8 on the Trax, Equinox, Blazer, Traverse, and Colorado.
