Year-end Ford deals announced Wednesday involve no payments for 90 days on the entire lineup. Interestingly, a dealer incentive bulletin reveals that the 2021 F-150 — due to arrive very soon at dealers — is eligible for the payment deferral. As a result, the brand's newest truck now features no payments till 2021.

In most parts of the country, the all-new flagship pickup will feature 2.9% APR financing for up to 36 months, with 48 and 60-month options at 3.9% and 4.9%, respectively. Those rates aren't particularly good, but early adopters could find the added flexibility of deferred payments useful just before the holiday season.

Fortunately, our analysis finds that there are additional discounts that can save you money. For example, Ford Credit is offering a $1,000 financing bonus and XLT styles are eligible for $1,500 in bonus cash. In addition, some configurations offer hidden savings in the form of equipment discounts worth up to $2,250.

If you'd prefer to score a deal on the 2020 F-150, you'll find rates as low as 0% APR for 60 months in places like California. Alternatively, a $4,000 purchase incentive on XLT Crew Cabs can be combined with a new $2,000 trade-in assistance bonus for up to $6,000 in potential savings ahead of Black Friday later this month.

Although an inventory shortage suggested fall could be an awful time to buy a truck, the reality is that 2021 truck rebates are surprisingly good. For example, offers introduced this week on the 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 involve rebates worth up to $6,250 when choosing a Crew Cab with the optional Texas Edition Package.

Current Ford offers are set to end on January 4, 2021.
