Brand loyalty means a lot to luxury automakers. In fact, it means so much that some brands use special offers called conquest discounts to help lure shoppers away from competing brands. Lincoln's competitive bonus cash program ranks as one of the most aggressive in the business with thousands in discounts on most models. So who's eligible? And where are the best deals? Here's what you need to know.

Read our primer on what conquest discounts are>>

Program details

  • You're eligible if you currently own or lease any 1995 or newer non-Ford/Lincoln vehicle
  • Your current vehicle does not need to be traded-in
  • Lessees do not need to terminate their current lease
  • The offer is not compatible with loyalty discounts and other conquest offers

Where are the best deals?

We generally find that Lincoln's best conquest discounts are on its hotter sellers. For example, this month's offers on the 2016 MKZ sedan center on 0% APR for 60 months plus a $2,250 conquest bonus.

The 2016 MKC crossover isn't far behind with a solid $2,000 bonus plus 0% APR for 60 months. If you're in the market for something a bit larger and more luxurious, the 2016 Navigator currently has $1,500 in conquest cash available- or three times the amount it had earlier in January because of a mid-month enhancement.

Our take

However you slice it, Lincoln's conquest discounts are quite generous given what competitors like BMW and Lexus typically offer. But is it really enough to get shoppers to switch brands?

The truth is that aggressive lease offers featuring up to $6,250 in discounts have been helping drive consumer interest in Lincolns. As a result, the brand routinely ranks toward the top of our monthly analysis of the best leases. Be sure to check with your local dealer for the latest offers.
