Available in two-wheel or all-wheel drive, the Santa Fe is powered either by a 175-hp 2.4-liter four cylinder engine, or a 276-hp 3.5-liter V6. Two transmission choices are offered, a six-speed manual, and a six-speed automatic with SHIFTRONIC. Standard safety features include six airbags, anti-lock brakes with brake assist, electronic stability control with traction control, active front head restraints, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The Santa Fe is available in two trim levels: GLS and Limited. Both levels come standard with front-wheel drive, but four-wheel drive is available for all models. The GLS is powered by a 2.7-liter V6 engine, coupled to a four-speed automatic transmission with Shiftronic manual shift control. It is also available with a 3.5-liter V6 engine with five-speed automatic transmission with Shiftronic manual override.
