2022 Hyundai Sonata Prices and Deals
The 2021 Sonata is here:
Hyundai dealer lots are well stocked with the 2021 Sonata. Hyundai's midsize sedan continues to hold its own in a shrinking, but still competitive segment.
For 2021, this one is a complete carryover from the then-new 2020 model. New for 2022 is a special edition Sonata N-Line Night Edition with a blackout look. We’re expecting more updates down the line, perhaps including a full N performance model. Deals on the soon-arriving 2022s are now in place.
This page is updated monthly with the most recent incentives, so be sure to check back for the latest information. The current offers are in place through August 2, 2021.
Lease deals to consider:
You can lease a 2021 Hyundai Sonata 2.4L SE for $169 per month for 36 months with $2,899 due at signing. Your effective monthly cost of ownership is $250 and this represents a strong deal.
If you prefer a Sonata Hybrid in Base trim, this one can be leased for $189 per month for 36 months with $2,899 due at signing. Your effective cost is $270 and this is a strong offer for this highly efficient model.
The first lease on a 2022 model is in place. This one is for the 2.4L SE. Here, your monthly payment is $209 for 36 months with $2,899 due at signing. Your effective monthly cost is $290 and that's a fair offer. Yet, we expect better deals down the line when the model year switchover is finished.
Most Hyundai lease offers supply a 10,000-mile per year drive allowance. At the end of the lease term, you’ll pay a disposition fee.
Rebates and other cash deals:
Choose a 2021 Sonata and you’ll find customer cash on all trims. Specifically, Hyundai offers $1,000 on all trims. In addition, if you choose to finance with Hyundai at the standard rate, you’ll find $500 in finance bonus cash, giving you up to $1,500 in savings. These are excellent deals.
Hyundai supplies multiple special incentives worth noting. The company’s College Grad Program offers $400 toward the purchase or lease of a new vehicle. A Military Program and First Responders Program supply $500 in cash each toward the purchase or lease of a new Hyundai. Finally, there is a Mobility Program that offers $1,000 for the purchase of adaptive equipment in your Hyundai. See your dealer about each of these special offers and to determine your eligibility.
Finance from 0.0-percent APR:
Zero-percent financing is available and that’s a good thing. Here, you can finance your 2021 Sonata for 0.0-percent APR for 60 months or 1.9-percent APR for 72 months. Hyundai adds $500 in finance bonus cash, funds you'll claim and use toward your down payment.
Choose the 2022 Sonata and Hyundai offers 0.9-percent APR financing for 60 months and 2.9-percent APR for 72 months.
Once again this month, Hyundai is offering a 90-day first payment deferral on select models, including this one. Here, you will get to drive your Hyundai throughout the summer before making your first payment this fall. What a great way to get back on the road again without the added expense of a car payment!
Ask your dealer about applying the special rebates, if eligible.
