The Gladiator is essentially a pickup version of the Wrangler Unlimited with many of the same classic design cues. This makes the Gladiator something special in the market — a truck designed primarily for recreation, not work.

Prices typically start about $2,000 higher than the Wrangler Unlimited. The base Sport is difficult to find, which means the cheapest model on many lots costs close to $40,000. Note the plug-in hybrid 4xe variant isn't eligible for a federal tax credit or state incentives currently. The base MSRP of the 4xe has risen by $2,000 because navigation is now standard.
