The Lexus LC will arrive in 2022 with more suspension enhancements. Additionally, new 21-inch forged alloy wheels have been added to the Sport Package, and “Bespoke Build” is being introduced, which offers users several options to customize their vehicle and make it unique. The carbon-fiber roof option is now available exclusively with Bespoke Build. The same three trims — the LC 500 coupe, LC 500h hybrid, and LC 500 convertible — continue to be available for the 2022 model year.
The 2022 LC 500 coupe and convertible will continue with its 5.0-liter V8 engine paired with a 10-speed Sport Direct Shift automatic transmission that will make 471 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque. The hybrid variant gets a 3.5-liter V6 engine and two electric motors. Rear-wheel drive is standard across all styles.
Standard infotainment features on the 2022 Lexus LC include a 10.3-inch touchscreen with navigation, a 12 speaker audio system, HD Radio, SiriusXM and Wi-Fi capability, Bluetooth connectivity, wired Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and integrated Amazon Alexa. A head-up display and Mark Levinson 13-speaker Surround Sound system are optional.
The 2022 Lexus LC comes standard with many driver assistance technologies, including a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, and intelligent high beams. Parking Assist with automatic braking is optional on the LC 500 coupe and 500h, but comes standard on the 500 convertible.
The 2022 Lexus LC is expected to hit dealer lots in the winter of 2022.
Pricing ranges from $94,125 for the LC 500 coupe to $102,175 for the LC 500 convertible.
