The limited-production C55 AMG sedan tops the C-Class line. Powered by a hand-built 5.5-liter V8 rated at 362 horsepower. The C55's Speed Shift five-speed automatic, brakes and suspension are improved to match its prodigious horsepower. Safety features include Active front head restraints; active head restraints; side-impact airbags for front passengers as well as curtain-style head-protection airbags for front and rear passengers.For 2006, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class gets a line of new V-6 engines.
