The SLS AMG GT is entering its final year as the exotic supercar from Mercedes-Benz. To ensure a proper sendoff, all 2015 models come in racy Final Edition trim.
What's New for 2015
The Final Edition package of enhancements replaces most other trim and equipment choices.
Choosing Your Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT
Available as a gull-wing coupe or soft-top roadster, the AMG GT is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 that puts out a stunning 583 horsepower. The engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission. You also get a limited-slip differential and active suspension dampers to keep things in check. Virtually all Mercedes-Benz comfort and safety features come standard, including the AirScarf neck-warming system on the roadster.
The Final Edition treatment includes a black-finish hood, a carbon fiber front spliter, a fixed rear wing, 10-spoke black alloy wheels and red brake calipers. Inside, you get black leather seats with silver diamond stitching and high-gloss carbon fiber trim on the console and doors. Extended carbon fiber trim is available throughout, including on the engine cover.
At this level of sophistication, functional options are few. Your choices are a Bang & Olufsen sound system, carbon-ceramic brakes, and a performance data display.
Production is limited to 350 serial-numbered units, so don't waste a second kicking tires if you're serious about snagging one.
