What's New
The 2023 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross gains standard all-wheel drive and LED front lighting for its second year on the market.
Choosing Your Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross
The Eclipse Cross continues in four trim levels: ES, LE, SE, and SEL. Pricing starts at $27,040 including destination and reaches $30,540 for the SEL.
Engine Choices
Every Eclipse Cross is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 152 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive and a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) are also standard.
According to EPA estimates, the Eclipse Cross delivers 25 miles per gallon city, 28 mpg highway, and 26 combined.
Passenger and Cargo Capacity
The Eclipse Cross is a two-row, subcompact crossover with seating for five. Buyers get 23.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seat and 50.1 with it folded. Overall interior space is respectable for an entry-level crossover.
Safety Features
Driver assistance technology is determined by trim level. The base ES offers lane departure warning and automatic emergency braking. Stepping up to the LE brings automatic high beams and front wipers. The SE adds blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. The line-topping SEL also gets surround-view cameras. The SEL Touring Package ($2,100) includes adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, and high-speed automatic emergency braking.
Connectivity
The Eclipse Cross starts out with a 7-inch touchscreen, four speakers, and a USB port. The LE gains an 8-inch touchscreen, satellite radio, and a second USB port. The SE and SEL offer six speakers and navigation. The SEL Touring Package furnishes eight-speaker sound.
