Missouri Bill of Sale Form: How to Get One, Fill it Out, and the Required Information

Whether you want to sell a vehicle in Jefferson City or St. Louis, you will need to complete a Missouri bill of sale form so that the car can be titled under the name of the new buyer. Information Needed on a Missouri Bill of Sale Form

  • Name and address of the buyer
  • Name and address of the seller
  • Date of the transaction
  • The odometer reading of the vehicle
  • The sales price for the vehicle

  • The VIN number of the vehicle
  • Signature of both parties

The above information is all that is really needed for a bill of sale form in Missouri. However, you should also think about adding additional details pertaining to the sale of the vehicle. For instance, if you're selling the vehicle to the buyer without a warranty, make sure the bill of sale states that the car is being sold 'as is.'
