2023 Volkswagen ID.4 Prices and Deals

2023s are here; 2022s still available

The Volkswagen ID.4 is the brand's newest EV and offers up to 260 miles of range with a versatile SUV design.

The new 2023s include a new entry-level version and price point as they join the outgoing 2022s on dealer lots, though all models are low stock right now.

Current offers vary by location and are good through January 31, 2023. Our examples are based on what's available in Los Angeles.

VW ID.4 Lease Deals

Time will tell whether the manufacturer will offer lease specials again on the ID.4.

The last least incentive was over a year ago, and it was for a 2021 VW ID.4 PRO Electric SUV that started at $379 per month for 36 months with $3,573 due at signing (10,000 miles per year). With an effective monthly cost of $478, we considered this to be an okay value, as it was a lot higher than the effective monthly cost of a 2021 Chevy Bolt EV.

VW ID.4 Rebate Deals

Tax credits available

The ID.4 is eligible for the $7,500 EV tax credit for models assembled in North America, but note that only the all-wheel drive models are considered SUVs, which gives them an MSRP eligibility cap of $80,000, compared to $55,000 for other trims.

State incentives like the $2,000 California Clean Vehicle Rebate and $750 Clean Fuel Reward can boost your savings as high as $10,250.

VW ID.4 Financing Deals

No special offers

Promotional finance rates are notably absent this month. It may be worth your while to understand your options, including your own bank's finance rates, before speaking with a dealer.

For reference, last month's rates started at 5.05% APR for 48 months, and the previous month's introductory offer was 4.9% APR financing for 60 months.
